  The aim of the article is an attempt to conceptualize the idea of the borderland’s dimensions in the Szczecin’s nominated and awarded in the Polish-German Journalism Award contest. The research method used qualitative content analysis. The task was: to define systematics discussed topics; to indicating the category of spatially-ideological; make the discussion of the axiological layer and defining media functions of cross-border media projects as a special kind of building platforms and debates between journalists of the two countries.;
  Celem artykułu jest próba konceptualizacji wymiarów pogranicza w materiałach szczecińskich dziennikarzy nominowanych i nagrodzonych w konkursie o Polsko-Niemiecką Nagrodę Dziennikarską. Jako metodę badawczą zastosowano jakościową analizę treści, zadanie polegało na: określeniu systematyki poruszanej tematyki; wskazaniu ich kategorii obszarowo-ideowych; omówieniu warstwy aksjologicznej oraz określeniu medialnej funkcji transgranicznych projektów medialnych, jako szczególnego rodzaju budowania platform i debat pomiędzy dziennikarzami obu krajów.
