  Diplomacy in the contemporary world struggles with numerous problems, such as: military conflicts, terrorism, refugeeism, migrations, famine, poverty and violation of human rights. Solving them requires of diplomats to be professional, skilful, and most of all, deeply committed to moral values. While speaking to diplomats, Pope Benedict XVI indicates that the path leading to this aim is to search and cognize the moral truth in diplomatic actions. ;
  Dyplomacja we współczesnym świecie zmaga się z wieloma problemami takimi, jak: konflikty zbrojne, działalność terrorystyczna, uchodźctwo, migracje, głód, ubóstwo czy łamanie praw człowieka. Rozwiązywanie tych problemów wymaga profesjonalizmu i  zręczności dyplomatów, a nade wszystko ich moralnej postawy. Przemawiając do dyplomatów Benedykt XVI wskazuje, że drogą prowadzącą do tego celu jest poszukiwanie i poznanie prawdy moralnej w działaniach dyplomatycznych.
