  The author presents findings from her own empirical study entitled ‘Strategie Management Concepts in Non-Profit Organisations’, conducted in 2008-2009 at the Warsaw School of Economics. The aim is to present the results of the pilot study on the application of strategie management in public higher education institutions. Most importantly, the paper aims to add to the body of knowledge on various stakeholder groups, decision-making process involving planning, formulating, implementing and verifying strategies, strategie analysis methods and tools, as well as strategy formulation.;
  Autorka przedstawia wyniki badań empirycznych przeprowadzonych w ramach badań własnych zatytułowanych „Koncepcje zarządzania strategicznego w organizacjach nie nastawionych na zysk” realizowanych w latach 2008-2009 w Szkole Głownej Handlowej w Warszawie. Celem opracowania jest zaprezentowanie wynikow badań pilotażowych stopnia i zakresu stosowania zarządzania strategicznego przez publiczne szkoły wyższe, a przede wszystkim poszerzenie wiedzy na temat poszczegolnych grup interesariuszy organizacji, procesu decyzyjnego zachodzącego w procesie planowania, formułowania, wdrażania i weryfikacji strategii, a także stosowanych metod i narzędzi analizy strategicznej oraz formułowania strategii.
