Dieser Artikel versucht nachzuzeichnen, wie sich innerhalb der polnischen Germanistik ein auf die Literatur Österreichs spezialisierter eigener Forschungszweig herauskristallisiert hat. Dabei soll es neben der Semantik des dadurch entstandenen Bildes Österreichs und moderner österreichischer Literatur v. a. um die historische Entwicklung dieses Forschungszweiges selbst gehen.;
The article makes an attempt at reconstruction of a distinct research course in the German studies in Poland, focusing on Austrian literature. Apart from the significance of the image of Austria and the contemporary Austrian literature created in this way, the article discusses primarily the historical development of this research direction.;
Artykuł podejmuje próbę rekonstrukcji odrębnego kierunku badań w germanistyce polskiej, koncentrującego się na literaturze austriackiej. Oprócz znaczenia stworzonego w ten sposób obrazu Austrii i współczesnej literatury austriackiej chodzi przede wszystkim o historyczny rozwój tego kierunku badawczego.
