  The aim of the research was to determine the educational potential of students participating in the implementation of the tutoring model in university practice. Th e implementation of the tutoring model was associated with the participation of Maria Grzegorzewska University in Warsaw in the project entitled “Masters of Didactics” organized by the Ministry of Education andScience. The educational potential was described using the following variables: reflective thinking, results obtained on the A – levels examination, the level of English language proficiency. The measurement of reflectivity – understood as self-reference to one’s own knowledge and learning process – was made using the Reflective Thinking Questionnaire. Other educational potentials were identified by means of the results obtained in the secondary school- leaving examination at the basic level, and possibly at the extended level, and thanks to the declarative indication of the level of English language proficiency. The study involved students covered by academic tutoring (tutees, n = 56) and students not covered by tutoring (control group, n = 95). Thanks to the comparison of the results obtained in the two groups, it was possible to establish whether and, if so, within which educational potentials, the two studied groups differed from each other. It was found that students participating in tutoring differ from students not participating in the program in terms of reflectivity and results obtained at the A – level exams.;
  Celem podjętych badań było ustalenie potencjałów edukacyjnych studentów biorących udział we wdrożeniu modelu tutoringu do praktyki uczelnianej. Wdrożenie modelu tutoringu wiązało się z uczestnictwem Akademii Pedagogiki Specjalnej w Warszawie w projekcie pt. „Mistrzowie Dydaktyki” organizowanym przez Ministerstwo Edukacji i Nauki. Potencjał edukacyjny opisano za pomocą następujących zmiennych: myślenie refleksyjne, wyniki uzyskane na egzaminie maturalnym, stopień znajomości języka angielskiego. Pomiaru refleksyjności – rozumianej jako autoodniesienie do własnej wiedzy i procesu uczenia się – dokonano za pomocą Kwestionariusza refleksyjnego myślenia. Inne potencjały edukacyjne rozpoznano dzięki wynikom uzyskanym na egzaminie maturalnym na poziomie podstawowym i ewentualnie na poziomie rozszerzonym oraz deklaratywnemu wskazaniu poziomu znajomości języka angielskiego. W badaniach wzięli udział studenci objęci tutoringiem akademickim (tutees, n = 56) oraz studenci nieobjęci tutoringiem (grupa kontrolna, n = 95). Dzięki porównaniu wyników uzyskanych w obu grupach możliwe było ustalenie, czy – i jeśli tak, to w ramach jakich potencjałów edukacyjnych – dwie badane grupy różnią się między sobą. Ustalono, że studencibiorący udział w tutoringu różnią się od studentów niebiorących udziału w programie w zakresie refleksyjności i wyników uzyskanych na maturze.
