Based on them the article proposes the concept ofpreparing the image ofthe city, introducing it and keeping on the market. Following issueslikethe image ofthe city, the geographical brand, the influence on people as well as monitoring the effectiveness will be included and discussed concerning art, science and practice.;
  Pojmowanie miasta jako produktu, dobra rynkowego należy do kanonu studiów z zakresu ekonomiki miasta i innych obszarów badawczych. Ostatnio opublikowano wiele prac, które opisują różne przypadki kształtowania wizerunku miast. Wartykule na podstawie dotychczasowego dorobku w tej materii przedstawiono propozycję systematyzowania i porządkowania zagadnień z zakresu konstruowania i utrzymywania na rynku wizerunku miasta. Uwzględniono następujące elementy: marka geograficzna,strategiczna misja miasta, tworzenie znaku graficznego, oddziaływanie na odbiorcę oraz monitorowanie skuteczności podejmowanych działań rozpatrywane w kontekście sztuki, nauki i praktyki.
