  The existence or absence of general principles specific and exclusive to agricultural law that would justify its autonomy has been debated for years. Faced with the impossibility of identifying them, Antonio Carrozza proposed a change in the approach and searched for the foundations of autonomy within specific legal institutions that could be grouped under the common denominator of agrarietà, thus giving birth, in 1972, to his theory of agrarietà based on the biological cycle. Nowadays, the autonomy of agricultural law is undisputed. In fact, its constant evolution has been studied for years and the question we, like Professor Roman Budzinowski, ask is: what is agricultural law today?;
  Durante años se discutió acerca de la existencia o no de principios generales propios y exclusivos del derecho agrario que permitieran justificar su autonomía. Ante la imposibilidad de identificarlos Antonio Carrozza propone cambiar de método. Buscará, entonces, el fundamento de la autonomía en el interior de los institutos jurídicos particulares factibles de agruparse sobre un común denominador de agrariedad. Surge así, en 1972, su teoría de la agrariedad basada en el ciclo biológico. Actualmente no discutimos la autonomía del derecho agrario. Desde hace años estudiamos su constante evolución y nos preguntamos, como lo hace el Profesor Roman Budzinowski: ¿qué es el Derecho agrario hoy en día?;
  Per anni si è discusso dell’esistenza o meno dei principi specifici ed esclusivi del diritto agrario che ne giustificassero l’autonomia. Di fronte all’impossibilità di identificarli, Antonio Carrozza propose di cambiare metodo e si mise a cercare i fondamenti della suddetta autonomia nell’ambito degli istituti giuridici particolari che potessero raggrupparsi attorno a un denominatore comune dell’agrarietà. Nasce così, nel 1972, la sua Teoria dell’agrarietà basata sul ciclo biologico. Attualmente l’autonomia del diritto agrario non viene messa in discussione. Da anni ne studiamo la continua evoluzione e ci poniamo la domanda, come il Professor Roman Budzinowski: cos’è il diritto agrario oggi?;
  Przez wiele lat trwała dyskusja nad ogólnymi zasadami, charakterystycznymi wyłącznie dla dziedziny prawa rolnego, które dawałyby podstawy do uzasadnienia jego autonomii. Z uwagi na niemożność ich określenia Antonio Carrozza zaproponował zmianę podejścia i poszukiwanie podstaw autonomii w obrębie poszczególnych instytucji prawnych, które łączy wspólny mianownik w postaci cyklu rolno-biologicznego. W 1972 r. sformułował on więc teoria della agrarietà opartą właśnie na cyklu rolno-biologicznym. Obecnie nie dyskutuje się już nad problemem autonomią prawa rolnego, lecz bada się jego ewolucję i za profesorem Romanem Budzinowskim pyta się, czym prawo rolne jest dziś.
