  The article is devoted to the principles of regeneration programming currently in force in Poland using the example of Konin which in the years 2015–2019 implemented one of the projects within the Model Urban Regeneration contest. The article presents what the process of urban regeneration actually looks like and what difficulties are encountered by coordinators of this process. Another goal of the article is to draw attention to Konin’s endogenous conditions and the town’s opportunity to use regeneration within the process of integrating two parts of the town situated on the left and on the right bank.;
  Artykuł prezentuje aktualnie obowiązujące zasady programowania rewitalizacji w Polsce na przykładzie Konina, który w latach 2015–2019 realizował jeden z projektów w ramach konkursu Modelowa Rewitalizacja Miast. W publikacji przedstawiono, w jaki sposób w praktyce wygląda planowanie rewitalizacji oraz na jakie trudności napotykają koordynatorzy tego procesu. Artykuł ma także zwrócić uwagę na endogeniczne uwarunkowania Konina oraz jego szansę na wykorzystanie rewitalizacji w procesie scalania prawo- i lewobrzeżnej części miasta.
