  The article concerns the issue of the access to the profession of lawyer between 1926 and 1938. It was connected with the homogenization of the provisions pertaining to the organization and functioning of the Bar in Poland. The growing interest in this legal profession, also among women, caused a large rise in the number of trainees and, as a consequence, of lawyers. The data within the reports of the Warsaw Bar Association attests to this fact. The community of lawyers associated with the Bar in Warsaw tried to counteract this tendency and strived to introduce more restrictions.;
  Artykuł dotyczy kwestii dostępu do zawodu adwokata w latach 1925–1938. Było to związane z ujednoliceniem przepisów dotyczących organizacji i funkcjonowania polskiej palestry. Rosnące zainteresowanie tym zawodem prawniczym, również wśród kobiet, spowodowało duży wzrost liczby aplikantów, a w konsekwencji adwokatów, o czym świadczą dane zawarte w sprawozdaniach Rady Adwokackiej w Warszawie. Środowisko adwokatów zrzeszonych w Izbie Warszawskiej starało się przeciwdziałać tej tendencji, dążąc do wprowadzania kolejnych ograniczeń.
