  The article considers the phenomenon of racism in the contemporary Poland, which as argued by the author, has recently intensified. As a result of two crucial social processes (migration from Ukraine and development of international cooperation in the field of higher education), previously monocultural Poland has witnessed a significant increase of the number of foreigners. Besides, along with with the refugee crisis and terrorist attacks in the Western Europe, foreigners (especially Muslims) have become pretty visible in the Polish media. Due to the context of their presentations in which they openly connect Islam to terrorism, xenophobic and racist moods are on the rise. Phenomenon of racism is analyzed in the text through the prism of Gordon Allport’s pyramid of hate with the texts and comments published on the selected facebook fanpages as the empirical basis.;
  Tekst dotyczy zjawiska rasizmu we współczesnej Polsce, które zgodnie z tezą autora tekstu, w ostatnich latach się nasila. W wyniku co najmniej dwóch istotnych procesów społecznych (migracje z Ukrainy oraz rozwój współpracy międzynarodowej w obszarze szkolnictwa wyższego) znacząco wzrosła liczba obcokrajowców w raczej monokulturowej do tej pory Polsce. Oprócz tego w związku z tzw. kryzysem uchodźczym oraz zamachami terrorystycznymi w Zachodniej Europie, obcokrajowcy, zwłaszcza zaś muzułmanie, stali się mocno widoczni w polskich mediach. Kontekst ich przedstawiania i bezpooerednie łączenie Islamu z terroryzmem sprawia, że rosną w Polsce nastroje ksenofobiczne i rasistowskie. Zjawisko rasizmu jest w tekście analizowane przez pryzmat tzw. piramidy nienawiści Gordona Allporta, a podstawą empiryczną są przede wszystkim teksty i komentarze zamieszczone na wybranych fanpage’ach tematycznych serwisu Facebook.
