  Polish–Arabic–English Trilingualism: A Case Study of Selected Language BiographiesThis paper utilizes linguistic biographies in order to exhibit the multilingualism of Poles living in present-day Egypt. It presents two model language biographies: a woman and a man brought up in Arabic culture. The respondents belong to the second generation of the Polish diaspora in Cairo and are the children of mixed marriages. The aim of the article is to explore the process of becoming and being a trilingual person, as well as to show the linguistic situation of people of Polish origin in Egypt and their language and cultural preferences in the context of self-identification. The research was conducted through personal interviews.Polsko-arabsko-angielska trójjęzyczność. Analiza wybranych biografii językowychArtykuł przedstawia wielojęzyczność Polaków w dzisiejszym Egipcie. Prezentuje dwie modelowe biografie językowe – kobiety i mężczyzny wychowanych w kulturze arabskiej. Respondenci należą do drugiego pokolenia polskiej diaspory w Kairze i są dziećmi z małżeństw mieszanych polsko-egipskich. Celem artykułu jest zgłębienie procesu stawania się i bycia osobą trójjęzyczną, pokazanie sytuacji językowej, w jakiej znajdują się osoby polskiego pochodzenia w Egipcie, ich upodobań językowych i kulturowych w kontekście samoidentyfikacji. Badania zostały przeprowadzone poprzez wywiady osobiste.
