  Obwohl Tabu und Tabuisierung in den Geisteswissenschaften – darunter auch in der Literaturwissenschaft – keine neuen Begriffe und Phänomene sind, wurde ihr Wirkungs- und Interpretationspotenzial bisher nicht ausreichend genutzt. Der vorliegende Beitrag geht von der Definition der im Titel genannten Begriffe aus und zeigt anschließend an ausgewählten Beispielen ihre Präsenz in den Texten, die im Rahmen der germanistischen Forschung analysiert werden. Beschrieben werden sowohl „kanonisierte“, nicht selten auf Lektürelisten gesetzte Texte, als auch mehr oder weniger stigmatisierte Publikationen, die sich auf eine relativ kleine Lesergruppe richten.;
  Although taboo and tabooing are not new concepts in the humanities, including literary studies, their interpretative potential has not yet been fully exploited. This article begins with an attempt to define the title phenomena, then showing (on selected examples) their presence in texts that are the subject of German studies. The description covers “canonical” texts – often present on school reading lists – as well as more or less clearly stigmatized publications, explored and analyzed by a relatively small group of recipients.;
  Choć tabu, względnie tabuizacja nie są w humanistyce – w tym również w literaturoznawstwie – pojęciami nowymi, ich potencjał interpretacyjny nie został do tej pory w zadowalającym stopniu zbadany i wykorzystany. Niniejszy artykuł wychodzi od próby zdefiniowania tytułowych zjawisk i fenomenów, pokazując następnie na wybranych przykładach ich obecność w tekstach będących przedmiotem badań germanistycznych. Opisowi poddane zostają zarówno „kanoniczne” teksty – nierzadko obecne na listach lektur szkolnych – jak również mniej lub bardziej wyraziście objęte stygmatyzacją publikacje, eksplorowane i analizowane przezstosunkowo wąską grupę odbiorców.
