  In March 2011, the Congregation for the Clergy issued a document entitled „The Priest, Minister of Divine Mercy", which is a help for confessors and spiritual directors. Analysis of this document indicates the need to rediscover the sacrament of penance and spiritual leadership, by the priest and by the penitent. It is through the sacrament of penance and through spiritual leadership that consciences of the believers are formed. This reality is also an element of the new evangeli¬zation which should lead one to personal encounter with Jesus Christ and thus to growth in sanctity.;
  W marcu 2011 roku Kongregacja do spraw Duchowieństwa wydała dokument zatytułowany „Kapłan, minister Bożego Miłosierdzia”, która stanowi pomoc dla spowiedników i kierowników duchowych. Analiza tego dokumentu wskazuje na konieczność ponownego odkrycia sakramentu pokuty i duchowego przywództwa, przez kapłana i penitenta. To poprzez sakrament pokuty i kierownictwa duchowego, które poprzez sumienia wierzących są utworzone. Ta rzeczywistość jest też elementem nowej ewangelizacji co powinno prowadzić do osobistego spotkania z Jezusem Chrystusem i w ten sposób do wzrostu w świętości.
