  The virtual network offers a wide range of opportunities to discuss various topics. One of such opportunities constitute (Internet) forums, including those set up with the view to expressing opinions about services offered, for instance, in a particular town. Yet, it should be noted that not only can forum users recommend these services, but, driven by their personal negative experiences, they can attempt at discouraging other people from using them. What is more, it sometimes happens that posts published on web forums are of defamatory character. It occurs when they make possible the identification of persons or entities that are the target of untrue comments contained therein. Such practice may prove seriously harmful to the credibility and reputation of the wrongly accused service providers, so necessary for their thriving in public space.;
  W przestrzeni wirtualnej istnieją możliwości wypowiadania się na różne tematy. Jedną z takich możliwości dają fora internetowe, w tym tworzone dla oceny usług i innych świadczeń w konkretnych miastach czy wręcz ich niepolecania przez osoby, które mają negatywne z nimi doświadczenia. Wpisy tam zamieszczane mogą wyczerpywać znamiona przestępstwa zniesławienia, gdyż umożliwiają one identyfikację podmiotów, których wpisy te dotyczą, co może podmioty te narazić na utratę zaufania niezbędnego dla funkcjonowania na rynku.
