  The article compiles information relating to the transposition of the model of fatherhood, which refers to the changes observed in the gradual and, in recent decades, intensified departure from traditional patterns and expectations of the father’s role, in favour of the creation of new styles of parental functioning of modern men. The new model of fatherhood benefits all family members, especially children. Given the firmly entrenched model of traditional fatherhood, there is a need to reinforce this emerging construct. As a result of educational and supportive activities, the idea is to achieve, on the one hand, greater paternal involvement in caregiving responsibilities and, at the same time, overcome inequalities in family relations, and on the other hand, enhance the social and cultural acceptance of the model of active fatherhood.;
  Artykuł kompiluje informacje dotyczące transformacji modelu ojcostwa, która odnosi się do zmian obserwowanych w stopniowym, a w ostatnich dekadach intensyfikującym się odchodzeniu od tradycyjnych wzorców i oczekiwań wobec roli ojca na rzecz tworzenia nowych stylów funkcjonowania rodzicielskiego współczesnych mężczyzn. Nowy model ojcostwa przynosi korzyści wszystkim członkom rodziny, zwłaszcza dzieciom. Biorąc pod uwagę mocno zakorzeniony model tradycyjnego ojcostwa, istnieje potrzeba wzmocnienia tego nowego konstruktu. W wyniku działań edukacyjnych i wspierających dąży się, z jednej strony, do zwiększenia zaangażowania ojców w obowiązki opiekuńcze i jednoczesnego przezwyciężania nierówności w relacjach rodzinnych, a z drugiej strony, do zwiększenia społecznej i kulturowej akceptacji modelu aktywnego ojcostwa.
