  The family is a place where moral order is formed and the humanization of a person takes place. Currently, due to various factors it undergoes its crisis. The article analises the most important causes of the disintegration of marriage and the family, according to Benedict XVI teaching. The economic, political and ethical factors were taken into account.  Understanding them will help in developing the renewal mechanisms to reconstruct the  social and religious aspects of our life. It is in fact a crisis of faith and the anthropology of man, which are the sources of these difficulties as far as marriage, its nature and goals are concerned. In addition, there are also ideological factors that are destructive to the social aspect of life.  The Pope emphasizes that the family is called to mutual love and unity, and should be open to its fruits. Accepting the gift of life and responsibility for education becomes a right and duty and in this way we show our will to follow the order established by God.  Christian life is a sign of a healthy family, in which the main and fundamental value is believing  in God, Jesus Christ and the service to your loved ones in the community of the Church and the State.;
  Rodzina jest miejscem kształtowania ładu moralnego i przestrzenią humanizacji osoby. Obecnie ze względu na różne czynniki przeżywa kryzys. W artykule zostały omówione najważniejsze przyczyny rozpadu więzi małżeńskiej i rodzinnej w nauczaniu Benedykta XVI. Wyróżniono w nich czynniki: ekonomiczne, polityczne i etyczne. Poznanie ich ma pomóc w wypracowaniu mechanizmów odnowy życia rodzinnego i społecznego. Według Papieża to bowiem kryzys wiary i antropologii człowieka jest źródłem trudności w rozumieniu małżeństwa, jego natury i celów. Ponadto dochodzą do tego czynniki ideologiczne, które są destrukcyjne dla całej tkanki społecznej. Papież podkreśla, że rodzina jest powołana do wzajemnej miłości i jedności, i powinna być otwarta na jej owoce. Przyjęcie daru życia i odpowiedzialności za wychowanie staje się jej prawem i obowiązkiem, oraz wyrazem zachowania porządku ustanowionego przez Boga. Świadectwo życia chrześcijańskiego jest wymownym znakiem zdrowej rodziny, w którym główną i podstawową wartością jest wiara w Boga-Jezusa Chrystusa i służba swoim bliskim we wspólnocie Kościoła i państwa.
