The purpose of this article is to discuss the names of meat dishes in the speech of Poles in the south-eastern borderlands. The subject of my research is the nomenclature and generational characteristics of the names of local dishes prepared and eaten as festive meals – meat dishes prepared on Sundays, holidays or during pig slaughter. My analyses revolve around the dynamics of change in the functioning of food names.;
Celem tego artykułu jest omówienie nazw potraw z mięsa w mowie Polaków na dawnych Kresach południowo-wschodnich. Przedmiotem moich badań jest nazewnictwo i charakterystyka pokoleniowa nazw lokalnych potraw przygotowywanych i spożywanych jako posiłki świąteczne – dania z mięsa przygotowywane na niedzielę, święta lub podczas świniobicia. Analizy koncentruję wokół dynamiki zmian w zakresie funkcjonowania nazw pożywienia.
