  figures, the resolution should be 300 dpi, for black and white figures, the resolution should be 600 dpi. <br /><strong>Figure and table legends</strong><br />All tables and figures should be cited in the text. Each figure must have a corresponding legend. Legends to tables and figures should contain sufficient information to be understood without reference to the text. All symbols, arrows, numbers, or letters used in the figure should be explained. For photomicrographs, information on the method of staining or preparation as well as information on scale and/or magnification shoul be included. <br /><strong>Proofs</strong><br />Proofs will be available as PDF files. The detailed instructions will be sent via e-mail when the proof is ready for review. Adobe Acrobat Reader is required in order to read this file, which can be downloaded (free of charge) from http://get.adobe.com/reader.
