The purpose of this article is to show the role and meanings of agricultural colleges in the regional environment.;
  Wśród funkcjonujących w naszym kraju uczelni ważne miejsce przypada szkołom wyższym o profilu rolniczym. Ich działanie wspomaga rozwój rolnictwa poprzez kształcenie wysokiej klasy specjalistów, kreowanie rozwiązań innowacyjnych i podejmowanie wysiłków na rzecz ochrony środowiska przyrodniczego, z którego czerpią niezbędne surowce oraz inne zasoby. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie roli i znaczenia uczelni rolniczych w środowisku regionalnym.
