The article presents Educational Support Questionnaire (ESQ) as a measure of perceived educational support in junior high school students. The instrument is constructed by the author. it may be used in order to assess the levels of perceived both general and specific source support which should foster learning and teaching process during early adolescence. The source support concerns: family (parent engagement), school (the facilitating role played by a teacher), peer group (the acceptance from schoolmates), counseling centre (specialist or therapist involvement). The article attempts to explain the concept of educational support. it also shows the theoretical and empirical facts which are crucial for its origin and structure. in addition, it describes ESQ variables and illustrates how they can be investigated. Moreover, the psychometric properties of the test are examined. Test reliability is assessed in two ways: stability and internal consistency are evaluated. The data which pertain to the criterion-related validity of ESQ are also available.;
Artykuł prezentuje Kwestionariusz Wsparcia Edukacyjnego (KWE). Jest to narzędzie skonstruowane przez autora służące do badania wsparcia edukacyjnego postrzeganego przez uczniów gimnazjum. daje ono możliwość oszacowania poziomów ogólnego oraz specyficznego wsparcia pochodzącego ze źródeł, które odgrywają ważną rolę w procesie uczenia się i nauczania młodzieży, tj. od rodziny (pomoc rodziców), szkoły (udział nauczycieli), grupy rówieśniczej (aprobata i pomoc szkolnych kolegów) i poradni psychologiczno-pedagogicznej (udział specjalistów na dodatkowych zajęciach). W artykule dokonano próby zdefiniowania pojęcia wsparcia edukacyjnego oraz przybliżono jego genezę, odwołując się do faktów teoretycznych i empirycznych. Ponadto opisano badane za pomocą KWE zmienne i sposób ich pomiaru. Zbadano również właściwości psychometryczne KWE. Rzetelność testu zmierzono na dwa sposoby: oszacowano stabilność bezwzględną i zgodność wewnętrzną testu. dane dotyczące trafności kryterialnej skonstruowanego narzędzia są również dostępne.
